My Values
I’m committed to creating equitable spaces that are welcoming and inclusive for all people. I believe every person deserves to experience love, safety, value, and belonging. One reason I am passionate about coaching is that I believe as we learn to be with and know ourselves more deeply, we develop the ability to connect and hold space for each other in an authentic and transformative way.
I believe that this ‘micro’ work serves the ‘macro’ work of collective liberation- where people of all races, ethnicities, physical abilities, socio-economic statuses, body shapes and sizes, religions, nationalities, sexual orientations, and gender identities will be seen, heard, included, honored, and elevated systematically from bottom to top.
I believe that in all we do, we are either upholding the status quo of oppressive systems, or we are creating something new and liberating in its place.
I believe that continual commitment to seeing our privilege and biases allows us to move through shame, to place of transformative honesty and responsibility. By doing the work of seeing where we are not showing up in alignment with our values and visions of ourselves, we get to experience what it means to belong to each other. This kind of belonging requires us to be in action.
